Why The Suspension Upgrade Is Needed

The rear suspension upgrade is necessary for almost every Kaabo rider, eventually. Up until last year, nearly all of Kaabo scooter models used inadequate suspension for the size of their scooters. Most riders get about 100 miles on their electric scooter before they notice anything is wrong. Under-spec'd springs lead to the rapid breakdown of the stock suspension. Then, the suspension's bushing design cracks under the weight. With heavier riders you'll notice degradation in the rear spring rebound just from going off a curb. Eventually, this degradation will leave the scooter rear end feeling saggy, unresponsive, and especially unruly during high speed cornering. In the worse cases you'll notice your rear tire rubbing along the bottom of your rear fender, or a cracked axle bolt.

What does the upgrade do?

With the use of our Kaabo Wolf X Rear Suspension Upgrade kit your suspension will be more comfortable than ever.

For the Wolf X we offer the stock springs in a 55CrSi Chrome-Silicon alloy steel that's rated for more duty cycles, is more resistant to heat, rust, and deformation. Simply put it offers more travel and longer life than springs made of 65Mn high-carbon spring steel. This allows the suspension to rely on the rebound of the bushings less and the resilience of the spring more. Our 55CrSi springs can be purchased as a direct stock replacement.
